International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) Survey
The world population is ageing and the incidence and prevalence
of cancer are on the rise. Every cancer surgeon is routinely
dealing with neoplastic disease affecting senior adults. The
goal of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) is
to foster the development of health professionals in the field of
geriatric oncology, in order to optimize treatment of older adults
with cancer.
The aim of the Surgical Task Force @ SIOG is to recognize the
state of the art in the assessment and management of oncogeriatric
surgical patients. This is the main goal of this
survey.
Answering these questions should take less than 5 minutes. Please
note that the aggregate results of the survey may be used for
scientific purposes. The results will always be presented ONLY in
the format of an aggregated data report where the responses and
identification of individual responders will not be possible.
