Byelaw of 6th November 2017

AGREED that a 50% reduction in the Full (consultant) Members' fee will be applied for the first two years of BASO~ACS Full Membership for any trainee member who has completed CCT, provided they have been a BASO Trainees member for at least 2 years.

Byelaw of 7th November 2016

To introduce 2 non-Trustee positions of Co-opted members on the current the BASO National Committee. Such individuals who are members of other specialist Societies and experts in the field of surgical oncology, in the opinion of the Trustees distinguished by their service to oncology and will offer expertise to the business of the to the existing board.

Such member to sit as an observer on the committee and will be nominated by the Trustees in their absolute discretion and be introduced at the General Meeting.

A Byelaw has been passed to amend name SOTA with immediate effect as BASO Trainees and to introduce an Annual Subscription for Membership for the Surgical Oncology Trainee Association (SOTA) category of Membership in the amount of £50 per annum with effect from 1 July 2016, click here to view the byelaw.
