EUROPEAN EXAMS
BASO~ACS works very closely with our European sister
organisation ESSO promoting and encouraging the sharing of ideas
and expertise with our European surgical colleagues. We encourage
our members to take full advantage of the benefits of this close
working relationship and the complementary ESSO membership all BASO
members recieve.
Please visit the ESSO website where you will see details of the
European courses and masterclasses, scientific congresses,
fellowships and bursaries that are available. We also
encourage BASO members, especially senior trainees, to consider
applying for the European Board of Surgery examinations in either
Surgical Oncology (predominantly focussed on visceral cancer
surgery) or Breast Surgery. The links to the ESSO website
and the examination website are given below.
