The EJSO aims to advance surgical oncology research and practice through the publication of original research articles, review articles, editorials, debates and correspondence. Open Access Agreements
Elsevier has reached open access agreements with an increasing number of institutions and university consortia around the world.
When an author publishes an open access article in a hybrid journal such as EJSO, they typically pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC) to cover the publishing costs. Many academic consortia or institutions partially or fully cover these APCs for their authors. This means authors now have access to publishing Open Access without having to cover the full or part of the APC.
