This Prize is open to all Residents About Ronald Raven, OBE Ronald Raven was a pioneering surgeon at the The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. With a distinguished career in surgical oncology spanning more than 30 years, he co-founded the British Association of Surgical Oncology (BASO) in 1973. The award was first presented in 1973 and, with only a few exceptions, has been awarded every year since.
